The Nevada Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) Project is a state-wide project that assists state and local educational agencies to install, implement, scale, and sustain durable implementation of multi-tiered academic and behavior frameworks to support student and school needs. This is accomplished through the use of evidence-based practices to support student needs, systems development to support staff, and regular data collection and analysis for progress monitoring and decision making, all focused around meaningful and culturally contextualized student outcomes. When done with fidelity, MTSS facilitates the implementation of a continuum of evidence-based practices, and is a proactive, data-driven, and collaborative way to ensure schools prevent challenges and address concerns early and effectively.
