Outstanding service-learning community partner award
We recognize that our service-learning courses thrive because of our exceptional community partners who have an in-depth understanding of our students, programs, and the community's needs. It is with great pleasure that we announce the Outstanding Service-Learning Community Partner Award, which seeks to acknowledge a community partner who has exemplified excellence in collaborating with a service-learning course to provide meaningful learning opportunities for our students.
This award is an expression of our appreciation for the commitment and vital role played by our community partners in this collaboration. The Office of Service-Learning and Civic Engagement is grateful for the many partnerships we have forged, and we are delighted to celebrate one partnership each year with this award.
Recognition of the recipient will be at the annual Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement breakfast, Friday, May 12th, 2023, from 8:30 am-10:00 am in the Joe Crowley Student Union Ballroom C. The recipient will receive an individual plaque.
- Eligibility: All organizations that have partnered with any 推荐杏吧原创 service-learning course.
- Evaluation criteria: Evaluations will be made by a committee of experienced service-learning faculty.
- Nominations: Nominations may be made by 推荐杏吧原创 staff, faculty, students and community partners. Organizations may be nominated more than one time.
- Process: To nominate a community partner, complete the award application and submit your nomination by Sunday, April 9, 2023.
