Summary
Darren Barnes' career at NNIC started in 2004, as a driver for the Open World and International Visitor Exchanges programs, including the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), Study of the U.S. Institutes, (SUSI), the Youth Leadership Program with Algeria (YLPA), Open World and Fulbright Gateway. Darren has written hundreds of proposals for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), recruited for Global Expo Dubai and consistently assisted the Refugee Resettlement program.
Most recently, Darren completed a Human Resources Certificate through UNR, assuming the role of HR Representative in addition to his existing logistics and transportation responsibilities. He is certified in Mental Health First Aid.
