Eliana Gorov, a recent graduate of the Reynolds School of Journalism, has earned the coveted Certificate in Principles of Public Relations (CPPR). Gorov is the 20th graduate of the Reynolds School to earn the certification since the program's inception at the 推荐杏吧原创 in 2017.
CPPR is awarded by the Universal Accreditation Board of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) as an entry-level certificate that distinguishes graduates as exceptional professionals with advanced skills in Public Relations.

In her last year at the Reynolds School, Gorov served as the media relations manager for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Nevada Bateman Competition, developing a campaign with her team that focused on promoting a magazine dedicated to fostering human connection among culturally fluid communities.
Originally from Las Vegas, Gorov has always been passionate about hospitality and tourism. Today, Gorov works as an account coordinator for the travel & lifestyle public relations team at The Abbi Agency, a Reno-based integrated communications agency founded by journalism graduate and 2022 Distinguished Alumna Abbi Whitaker. Gorov has had the pleasure of securing top-tier media placements for accounts including Aramark Destinations, New Mexico Tourism, Visit Carmel-by-the-Sea, Edgewood Tahoe Resort, Visit Morro Bay and more.
The Public Relations Society of America CPPR exam is available to PRSSA Nevada members within six months before or after their graduation. Examinees are tested on ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate PR campaigns. They are also tested on their knowledge of ethics, law, business literacy, communication theories and models, crisis communication and current trends in the field of PR.
