she, her, hers

Summary

Sophia began pursuing her Ph.D. in Integrative Neuroscience in 2019, after several years spent working in clinical pathology labs. She has been studying under Dr. Gale Craviso on-and-off since her undergraduate career, characterizing the effects of high-intensity, nanosecond duration electrical pulses on cellular membrane permeabilization. Beyond her research interests in neuromodulation and electrophysiology, she is passionate about community and public health, particularly in understanding & bridging the gaps between pharmacological research and clinical treatment.
