Summary

Ran Duan is an assistant professor at the Reynolds School of Journalism at the 推荐杏吧原创. Her research interests span the areas of environmental, science, risk, and visual communication, such as the uses and effects of visuals in the communication of wildfire and climate change, the development of scales for measuring visual literacy in science communication. She has received Top Faculty Paper Awards from the Environmental Communication Division of International Communication Association (ICA) as first author (in 2019, 2021). She was named the Journalism School Outstanding Graduate Student at Michigan State University for 2017.
