Internship program admissions
The 推荐杏吧原创 currently offers three full-time internship positions. The selection process is based on the entire application package submitted through AAPI. However, applicants must complete the following required qualifications by the specified dates:
- Current enrollment and good standing in an APA-accredited doctoral program.
- Completion of all coursework necessary by the start of the internship, August 1, 2025.
- Comprehensive exams completed by the application deadline of November 24, 2024.
- Dissertation proposal accepted by the dissertation committee no later than the APPIC match ranking deadline (February 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST).
- A minimum of 250 cumulative supervised intervention hours (as defined by APPIC criteria) completed by October 1, 2024.
- At least 100 direct therapy hours with adults & adolescents, accrued under supervision during the doctoral program, completed by October 1, 2024.
- A minimum of two years (training year = 9-12 months) of supervised therapy practicum experience before the start of the internship.
- A minimum of 25 cumulative supervised assessment hours (as defined by APPIC criteria) completed by October 1, 2024.
- Experience administering a minimum of four WAIS-IVs or WISCs by the application deadline.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience administering comprehensive psychological assessments to clients in supervised practicum or work experiences and writing related integrated reports.
- Clinical experience working with the college student population.
