The WolfCard can be used to access many on-campus services including meal swipes, campus purchases, access to the Recreation Center, checking out materials in the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center, libraries, and other services. You can also link your WolfCard to a for optional banking convenience.
You submit your photo online, and then visit our office on the first floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union (JOE), room 001, or take a photo in office. Please bring a valid U.S. State or Federally issued photo ID or a passport to have your WolfCard printed. ID cards may only be issued to students who have registered for classes. You will be able to obtain your WolfCard the day after you register for classes.
Students
Full-time degree-seeking students (undergraduate, transfers) pay the University a New Student Fee, which includes the cost of your first ID card. Proof you have paid the New Student Fee fee may be required.
Graduate Students pay $10 for a card when they come into the office to obtain their card because the orientation fee does not cover the cost of the card. This card can be used to enter the faculty/graduate student lounge in the Knowledge Center. Please contact the Knowledge Center Business Office for more details.
Affiliate cards
Affiliates are persons who require university privileges but are not students or employees of the University. An Affiliate application is required. Fax the completed form to the ID Card Office at (775) 784-4080. The charge for an Affiliate card is $10.00 and can be paid for by the individual or a department IPO.

WolfBucks. Wolfbucks is a declining balance (debit) account attached to your WolfCard. Funds deposited to WolfBucks can be used in most campus locations.
BonusBucks. BonusBucks is a 5% bonus credited to your account attached to your WolfCard. Earn BonusBucks whenever you make a deposit of $200 or more (in a single deposit) to WolfBucks. BonusBucks can be used in most campus locations. BonusBucks cannot be refunded or transferred to other users. All WolfBucks have to be used before the system rolls to BonusBucks.
FoodBucks. FoodBucks is a . Funds deposited to FoodBucks can be used in all campus dining locations.
The E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center requires a WolfCard and paid membership for access into the building by students, faculty, staff, affiliates and a E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center card for all other memberships.
Please do not bend, punch holes, or put the card near magnets (ex. a phone case), as this will cause you to need a $25 replacement card.
Log into your WolfBucks Online account and report it lost, then go to the Wolf Office in the Joe Crowley Student Union for a $25 replacement card.
Come into the Wolf Office so we can test it, and if it has been demagnetized, you can purchase a $35 replacement card.
Reach out to your hall front desk for assistance with your door access. If the chip in the card has been broken, you can come to the Wolf Office to purchase a $25 replacement card.
We accept WolfBucks, cash, credit cards, or we can charge your student account.
REFUNDS: You may request a WolfBucks refund through the Campus Card Manager if you are graduating or leaving school for any reason. There is a ten dollar processing fee and two week processing period. The WolfBucks will be refunded to the student if there are no outstanding fees at the University. You may also request a transfer of funds to a friend or relative at the end of the year if you are leaving the university. Minimum transfer amount is $10. There are no refunds or transfers for Bonus WolfBucks.
If there is no activity in the account after 18 months your WolfBucks account will be closed.
Your WolfCard is also a prox card which is an electronic door access card used for admittance into many areas on campus. The hiring department will request required door access through Facilities Services.
If your prox card is not working:
- Are you enrolled for classes? Student cards will remain active between semesters if you are registered for the following semester.
- Did you freeze your card? Contact Facilities Services.
- Did you report a lost card found to Facilities Management?
- Ask your supervisor or department head if your status has changed.
- If you have damaged your Prox card the replacement fee is $25.
- Do not carry your card in a back pocket, it should be carried in a sturdy holder.
- Do not punch holes in your card for any reason.
Do not carry your card in a phone pocket as it could demagnetize the chip.
