Component overview
The Catalog Link Display is a component that generates a dynamic link to a program in the University's Course Catalog. Catalog Link Displays will be updated automatically as catalog versions change.
- Catalog Link Displays are used to provide automatically updating links to program pages in the Course Catalog.
- To create a Catalog Link Display, copy the program name exactly as it appears from the program page in the Course Catalog. Catalog Link Displays are not case-sensitive, but must otherwise match the catalog name exactly.
- Catalog Link Displays can be used on all schemas.
- Catalog Link Displays can have an optional title and description. You can add some text above your catalog link, but keep in mind that the description field is a plain text field and does not allow for text styling.
- There are no styling options with Catalog Link Displays. Currently, this component does not offer any styling options.
- Link names must be unique: The Acalog program name hyperlinks to the Course Catalog in Catalog Link Displays.
