ASTRA schedule instructions

  1. Visit the and sign in with your netID and password.
  2. Click on "Calendars," then select "Scheduling Grids." 
  3. The screen will pop up with all rooms on campus. To narrow down your search, click on the magnifying glass on the upper left-hand corner. From here, you can set your filters.
  4. Under "Location Filters," select "Campus," then select the desired location. You can select multiple locations, or leave it blank. Click "Done" at bottom of box.
  5. You can filter even further by choosing a particular building, a specific room, and a room type, all of which are listed under the Location Filters.
  6. You can also search for rooms with specific caps under the "Capacity" section.
  7. Scroll past the "Resource" filters, then make sure under "Event Filters" you have Include events checked. Typically, you won’t need to use any of the other filters in that section unless you are looking to find a specific scheduled event.
  8. Under "Academic Filters," make sure you have "Include Academics" checked.
  9. Scroll down to the end and under "Other Filters," make sure "Include Room Usage Controls" is clicked.
  10. Once you have your filters set, click "Search" at the top of the filter box on the left side. All rooms that fit the criteria you input will show up for you to view.
  11. The below screen shot shows all classrooms on the Lake Tahoe campus on September 7.
  12. On the upper-left side of the screen, select "week" if you want to view a room availability for an entire week. It will only show you the first room on your list for the week. If you want to see a different room, click on it and the calendar will automatically update with that room info.
