Summary

Jeffrey A. Griffin is a Lecturer of Political Science and Public Affairs and currently serves as the Political Science Undergraduate Faculty Advisor at the 推荐杏吧原创. His research examines human decision-making and the role of emotions, language and perceptions in responding to long-term societal problems. His current book project examines the intersection of language, politics and faith by carefully re-examining religious texts and exploring their continuous philosophical influence on modern society.

His research has appeared in The International Studies Encyclopedia, The Handbook on Democracy and Security, The Oxford Handbook of Global Health Politics, and The Oxford Research Encyclopedia of International Studies. Griffin received his Ph.D. from the 推荐杏吧原创 in 2022 after serving as a 2018-2019 Bilinski Education Foundation Dissertation Fellow, Visiting Fellow in the Institute for Intelligent Systems, FedEx Institute of Technology, at the University of Memphis in Spring 2019, and as Lecturer of Political Science at the 推荐杏吧原创 from 2020-2022.
