Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The 推荐杏吧原创 Department of Political Science cherishes the many expressions of human diversity that enrich the social, cultural and intellectual life of our community. To this end, our mission is to create a department that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve and welcomes the rich diversity present throughout the United States and world. This effort demands a broad view of what constitutes diversity. Accordingly, we make practice of continually reflecting on the missing voices from our conversations and are committed to increasing the number of voices from groups that have been traditionally underrepresented in political science. In addition to racial, ethnic and gender identification, we value and welcome diversity along other social, cultural, religious, political and economic dimensions. In keeping with our commitment, we recognize that the socioeconomic diversity, equity and inclusion we seek includes individuals who come from a variety of life circumstances. We strive to create access and a sense of belonging for all who choose the 推荐杏吧原创 and wish to be successful here.
