With the holiday season right around the corner, Nevada Athletics and SAAC have collaborated to host an on-campus food drive during football, men's, and women's basketball games.
Individuals who participate in the food drive will receive discounted admission at the ticket office window for any goods they bring in.
Football and men's basketball tickets will be $5 with a donated canned food item while women's basketball tickets will be $3 with a canned food item.

All donations will directly benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
The food drive comes amid widespread supply shortages that have driven up prices on some food products this holiday season. With regional food insecurity already on the rise, every donation is helpful in ensuring that Northern Nevada residents do not have to worry about whether or how they are going to have meals together as colder weather approaches.

Nevada fans are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items at one of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada bins at the ticket office windows.
For fans unable to bring food items to campus may also donate directly to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
