"Business is more than you think." This long-standing tagline for the 推荐杏吧原创's College of Business is brought to life each year during Business Week, an event hosted by the Business Student Council. Set for Sept. 23 through Sept. 27, Business Week will offer students and the community an opportunity to explore networking, personal branding, entrepreneurship training and more.
The Business Student Council works with College of Business faculty throughout the summer to put together an action-packed week at the start of each fall semester. The hope is that students throughout the University achieve a better understanding for how business impacts every college and major at the University.
"I am personally involved in Business Week because I think it is a great opportunity to show everyone what the College of Business has to offer both on campus and in the community," Maria Martinez, a junior business marketing major, communication minor and Business Student Council vice president, said. "The Business Student Council's goal is that students across campus learn about the different academic and professional opportunities available to them. The council wants to target non-business majors as well as business majors because all of the events are meant to help students prepare for that job after graduation. Employers from the community will be on campus throughout Business Week which is a great opportunity for students to network."
