Film screening will celebrate the history, achievements and future of the University

RENO, Nev. — The 推荐杏吧原创 will hold a special premiere of the “University of Nevada Sesquicentennial Film” on Oct. 1 in the . The event, open to invited guests and media, will commemorate the University’s history, achievements and future.

Told from the perspectives of University alumni, faculty and supporters, the film documents the University’s 150-year impact on the lives of its students, faculty and staff, as well as the state of Nevada and beyond. The premiere will include remarks from University leadership, a screening of the film and a book signing of “,” written by University faculty member and alumnus John Trent. 

This event is one of many held in the community to honor the University’s 150-year history. The University’s sesquicentennial anniversary is Oct. 12.

WHAT: The 推荐杏吧原创 will hold a film premiere of the “University of Nevada Sesquicentennial Film.”

WHEN/WHERE: Oct. 1

  • 4:45 p.m. (outside of the JCSU Ballroom C): Media interviews with University President Brian Sandoval will be available.
  • 5:15 p.m. (JSCU Theatre): The film premiere will begin.
