Latinx Student Services
The Multicultural Center strives to promote the pursuit of academic success, retention and graduation of Hispanic/Latinx students through Latinx Student Services. This program also includes events designed to educate the entire campus community to expand students' cultural horizons while honoring their respective cultural experiences.
What we do
Advocacy and support
Our outreach activities include:
- Coordinating workshops and resources that connect students to campus life and student organizations.
- Conducting one on one non-academic advising, support and referrals to on-campus and off-campus resources.
- Hosting college and university tours for Latinx prospective students.
- Providing guidance and resources to Residential Life for the Latinx LLC.
- Providing guidance on college admission requirements, scholarship opportunities and financial aid support to prospective students and their families.
- Supporting and advising Latinx clubs and organizations.

We host many events, including:
- La Bienvenida del Pack
- Latinx student socials
- Hispanic Heritage Month Events
- Día de los Muertos celebrations
- Latinx Graduate Celebration
