The 推荐杏吧原创 at Lake Tahoe's Wayne L. Prim Campus, nestled among the pines of the Sierra Nevada, serves as the intellectual, cultural beacon of Lake Tahoe. The 推荐杏吧原创 began operations on the campus on July 1, 2022, after entering into an agreement to acquire Sierra Nevada University. Sustainability and environmental stewardship remain at the core of all teaching, research and outreach.

Unique to our campus are the cross-collaborations between scientists, visual artists, musicians, journalists, and creative writers to convey theories and practices in sustainability in new, impactful ways. The Wayne L. Prim Campus serves as an epicenter of cutting-edge collaborations and interdisciplinary activities aimed at inspiring the protection of the most precious natural environments.

Lake Tahoe Wayne L. Prim Campus

The Lake Tahoe Wayne L. Prim Campus serves as the heart of the 推荐杏吧原创 at Lake Tahoe. This 18-acre setting in Incline Village includes 10 classrooms, two meeting rooms, event spaces, a cafeteria and catering service, two art galleries, the Holman Arts & Media Center, laboratories, office spaces, 88 dorm rooms and the Lou Sardella Student Commons Lawn.

The campus, built with sustainability in mind, was named after Sierra Nevada University Chair Emeritus, a longtime donor and Tahoe-area philanthropist committed to education and the arts, Wayne L. Prim.

Whittell Forest & Wildlife Area

The Whittell Forest & Wildlife Area (Whittell) is a 2,650-acre forested property owned by the 推荐杏吧原创 and administered by Research & Innovation at the University. The original 2,550 acres were gifted to the University by George Whittell in 1959, with the intent of maintaining a living laboratory of forested mountain land in a primitive state for research and instruction.

Whittell is situated in the Little Valley of the Carson Range along the eastern Sierra Front in Nevada, bordered on the west by the Tahoe Rim and the east by the community of Washoe Valley.

Nevada State 4H Camp at Lake Tahoe

The 推荐杏吧原创's Extension program runs and operates the . Facilities include rustic sleeping cabins, a 166-person dining hall and covered outdoor eating area, and separate women's and men's restrooms. The Camp's private sandy beachfront and its pier, basketball court, horseshoe pits, lawn areas, ping-pong tables, and 150-person scenic amphitheater with stage, and 150-person campfire area offer leisure activities like volleyball, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and more.
