Summary
I am a Hyderabadi feminist urban and political geographer working on gendered transportation in the urban majority world (or the global South), especially in South India. Currently a PhD candidate in Geography department, Masters student in the Gender, Race, and Identity department, and working as a teaching assistant at the ÍƼöÐÓ°ÉÔ´´. I work with Dr. Jessie Clark, Dr. Scott Kelley, and Dr. Kerri-Jean Ormerod in the Geography department and Dr. Prisca Gayles in the GRI department.
My research is motivated by a personal need to make urban transportation responsive to the needs of women. I believe in embracing the messiness of research, and our cities and use creative methods to find answers to my questions. Feel free to reach out with any questions or possible collaborations!
