Kristy serves as research coordinator for the College of Engineering. She is a program manager and communications specialist with 25 years combined experience in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Her diverse background includes such roles as nonprofit executive director, program manager, tech-sales liaison for online B2C deliverables, technical editor and trainer for software, hardware and large-scale retail point-of-sale systems for such companies as Fujitsu and McDonald’s. Kristy also has an 18-year track record of success as an independent marketing and communications consultant focused on organizational development, capacity building, fundraising and grant writing for nonprofit organizations. She takes great pride in utilizing her wide range of skills and expertise to further the College of Engineering research initiatives. Kristy enjoys skiing, tennis, pickleball, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

Grants & Projects Analyst 2

Brett came on board full-time as of February 2020 as our grants & projects analyst, after serving in a temporary capacity for approximately 6 months. Prior to coming to the 推荐杏吧原创, Brett was a part of the local banking industry for 15 years. In that role, he provided professional banking services to individuals and business clients, as well as other administrative task, i.e., auditing documents, creating reports and ensuring compliance with adopted policies and procedures. Brett brings a lot of enthusiasm to the ERO team and looks forward to assisting Engineering faculty throughout the proposal development process.

Dean joined the ERO team as a grants and projects analyst in March 2024. Before coming to the 推荐杏吧原创, attended Feather River College and obtained a business certificate in accounting while playing college baseball. Dean also has worked in the local retail and construction industries. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, coaching baseball and snowboarding.

Roger joined the ERO team in July 2022. He has extensive experience in program and project management, both through the Air Force, where he served for 21 years, and as a commercial contractor supporting government programs. In the Air Force, he supported managing all aspects of launching of 17 classified DoD satellites, and he was the launch base program manager for the DoD/NASA Clementine satellite program; Clementine discovered water in the North Pole and South Pole caverns on the moon. His experience further expands from nonprofit efforts to corporate management as well as teaching college courses on space technology. Roger is passionate about program/project management and strives to support all team members in order to ensure a successful outcome.

Julia joined the ERO as a technical grant editor in the spring of 2023. She brings 10 years of experience in media, public relations, fundraising and program management for public, private and nonprofit organizations locally and internationally. She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and looks forward to utilizing her writing, editing and proposal development skills to support new research. Julia is currently pursuing a M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University.
