Activating your NetID for WebCampus

Activating your NetID


1. Navigate to the on your computer.

2. Click on the Activate My NetID link.

3. Enter your 10-digit numeric NSHE ID, your date of birth, and the human verification code presented to you. Click Next.

4. Create a unique password following the listed requirements. Click Next.

5. Provide your contact details for self-password recovery. Click Next.

6. Create a personal verification question using one of the choices available. Click Next.

7. Accept the Use Agreement. Click Next.

8. Congratulations! You have successfully activated your NetID.

As soon as you have completed your NetID activation via the you should immediately set up your multifactor authentication with Microsoft.

Set up multi-factor authentication


1. Navigate to the on your computer.

2. Login with your student email.

  • The email will be your NetID (the username you would normally use for WebCampus) in the format of [NetID]@unr.edu.
  • If you are not sure what your NetID is, you can find it in under Personal Information and the Your Account section.

3. The background should change to the UNR campus on the password screen. Please use the password you just created during the NetID activation process.

4. You should see a screen saying that “more information is required.” Click Next

5. Click :I want to set up a different method" and then select Phone from the drop-down menu and click Confirm.

6. Provide your cellular phone number and choose whether you prefer an SMS text message or voice phone call and click Next.

7. Depending on whether you chose to receive a code or to have the system call you, you will either receive a 6-digit code or a voice phone call to complete the enrollment. After you have confirmed your device, you will see the following.

8. Once you have fully logged in, you should be able to login to our other integrated NetID services going forward.
