M.A. thesis title: Relating Histomorphometric Variables of Adult Human Fibulae to Age-at-Death
Leah Auchter is currently a Ph.D. student with primary interests in the growth and development of the human skeletal, in particular the pelvis. Broader interests include forensic anthropology, subadult human osteology, human genetics and molecular anthropology, and histology. Her previous experience includes internships at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York and with the Forensic Anthropology Division at Harris Country Institute of Forensic Sciences. Her dissertation research focuses on using CT scans to document and explore the changes in size and shape of the pelvis during growth.
