Summary

Lin Li Hall, born and raised in Tianjin, China, received her B.A. from Nankai University, China and her M.A. from the 推荐杏吧原创. Her fields of interests are second language acquisition, Chinese pedagogy as well as intercultural communication. She teaches first-year, second-year and third-year Chinese language and culture courses at the University. She is also the academic advisor of the Chinese program. She received the College of Liberal Arts Senior Scholar Mentor Award in 2019 and the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Teaching by Non-tenure-track Faculty in 2020. 

In addition, she has received federal grants from the National Security Agency and National Foreign Language Center, engaged in outreach activities to collaborate with the local school district and hosted the STARTALK Critical Language programs to teach 7-12 graders Chinese.
