Summary

Andrea has been a sign language interpreter for over 20 years and is educated in all aspects of Deaf language, culture, history, human rights and advocacy needs. Her training includes use of tactile signing for deaf-blind individuals, as well as total communication techniques for client with minimal language competency. She holds an EIPA 4.2 certification along with passage of the NIC Knowledge exam. She completed a B.A. in philosophy at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2005 and MFA in performance art at the 推荐杏吧原创, in addition to her AAS in interpreting from Seattle Central Community College in 2000.
