School of the Arts Sticker Contest

School of the Arts students are invited to submit their original artwork as part of our biannual sticker campaign!

Selected artwork will be featured on 3” circular stickers distributed during the following semester.

Eligibility

Must be a current 推荐杏吧原创 undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing. Must be majoring or minoring in a department within the School of the Arts (visual arts, theatre and dance, and music). Students graduating in Spring of 2025 or later may enter.

Review

Artwork will be reviewed by representatives from each of the School of the Arts departments as well as a special guest juror from the Nevada Museum of Art. Submissions will be reviewed using the following criteria:

  • Artistic excellence and composition
  • Diversity of discipline and/or media used
  • Representation of the student’s experience in the School of the Arts

Submissions are due Friday, November 29, 2024.

Submission

Limit one entry per person/team per semester. Collaborative work is accepted. Photographs of theatre, dance, and music performances are also accepted.

How to enter:

  1. Download either of the from our Nevada Box folder.
  2. Add your original, high-resolution artwork to the designated layer and export it as a high-resolution .jpg, .png, or .pdf file.
    • Artwork does not need to be made to sticker specs and will be cropped to fit a 3” circular sticker size.
  3. Email your submission as a file attachment (.jpg, .png, or .pdf) to arts@unr.edu in the following format:
    • Subject: SOTA Sticker Submission
    • Body:
      1. Name
      2. Email
      3. Phone number
      4. Major and minor
      5. Semester/year you anticipate graduating
      6. Paragraph description of your work
