Honors College student Ashley Cotton awarded the Critical Language Scholarship

The Office of Undergraduate Fellowships and the Honors College are pleased to announce that Ashley Cotton has been awarded the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) to study Japanese. Ashley is first year student in the Honors College and the School of Music in the College of Liberal Arts. Her major is jazz trombone. Ashley learned about the CLS in her HON 109 introductory honors seminar. She worked on her application with Jenna Altherr Flores, director, Office of Undergraduate Fellowships.
