Dear Wolf Pack Family,
On Tuesday, Nov. 5, millions of Americans exercised their most important and profound responsibility by voting in the 2024 General Election. In Nevada, there were polling places staffed by officials and citizen volunteers who ensured voting integrity and the future of our democracy. Throughout the election, the polling locations in the Joe Crowley Student Union saw a record-high number of voters. We are proud of all the faculty, staff and students who contributed to this historic turnout.
With the results of the election, we are at an important moment that represents change, transition and opportunity. Our country’s history is one of aspirations, creating paths of opportunity for all of us to have a more prosperous life.
I hope you remember this in the days to come. The values at the heart of our University speak to our shared sense of humanity. That we care about our community and we know we are at our best when we lift up the members of The Wolf Pack Family.
