Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the 推荐杏吧原创 presents Day of Remembrance 2024, Beyond Courage: Jewish Resistance and Heroes During the Holocaust. This event will honor the past and explore the heroes who resisted during the Holocaust.
The event will begin with a welcome and introduction to the evening by Judith Schumer, co-chair, Holocaust Day of Remembrance.
"With the recent tremendous rise not only in antisemitism but in Holocaust denial, it is more important than ever to present the truth about the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by Nazi Germany and its collaborators,” said Schumer. “Programs such as this one illustrate the dangers of prejudice, discrimination and dehumanization.
