The College had a number of new programs ranked in 2019

According to U.S. News and World Report, "schools are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence."

Rankings from of top engineering schools for graduates were recently released, and the ÍƼöÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ College of Engineering has ranked in the following positions:

  • College of Engineering: 141
  • Civil Engineering: 65
  • Electrical Engineering: 160
  • Environmental Engineering: 77
  • Materials Engineering: 90
  • Mechanical Engineering: 121

The College’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering also received the following rankings from :

  • Department: 115
  • Robotics: 24
  • Human-Computer Interaction: 43

According to its website, CSRankings is entirely metrics-based and “weighs departments by their presence at the most prestigious publication venues.”

The ranking was created to “identify institutions and faculty actively engaged in research across a number of areas of computer-science, based on the number of publications by faculty that have appeared at the most selective conferences in each area of computer science.”
