Summary
Before enrolling as a Ph.D. student in Hydrology at the 推荐杏吧原创, I earned a B.A. in Earth & Oceanographic Science and Government & Legal Studies from Bowdoin College. I worked for a year in a scientific support role with the air quality modeling group at the U.S. EPA before beginning an M.S. program at the University of Wyoming, where I studied ice sheet motion in Greenland. My current research with Dr. Kaitlin Keegan focuses on understanding meltwater movement and retention within the firn column on ice sheets to reduce uncertainty in the timing and magnitude of Greenland’s contribution to sea-level rise. Outside of academic work, I enjoy cooking and most outdoor activities, including hiking, backpacking, skiing, and taking my dog for long walks in the open spaces around Reno.
