Summary
Dr. Boisrame is an Assistant Research Professor in the Division of Hydrologic Sciences at the Desert Research Institute. She earned a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Whitman College. Prior to joining DRI, she worked as an environmental scientist for the Delta Stewardship Council, a California State Agency.
Dr. Boisrame’s research covers a range of water resource management topics, from how mountain snowpacks are affected by wildfires to the impacts of climate change on agricultural water use. She uses a range of field methods, statistical techniques, computer modeling, and remote sensing tools to help people better understand how land management decisions affect our water supply.
