Summary
I graduated from UC Davis in 2017 with a B.S. in geology. After graduating I worked for a county water agency collecting water samples and educating the public about water quality issues in the area. Following my time at the water agency, I worked as a geotechnical contractor in the SF Bay Area, where I was performing in-situ soil testing, especially Cone Penetration Testing (CPT). I did a lot of work testing the stability of tailings dams on mines ranging from Arizona to the Northwest Territories and many places in-between.
I am currently working with Wenrong Cao to constrain the geometry, kinematics, and dynamics of earthquake related structures in the June Lake, CA area. More specifically, I am studying how psuedotachylite can inform earthquake processes.
