As the College of Business, we have been investing heavily on international programs for quite some time. We value our partnerships with these top universities in China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Australia. 

Lanzhou University | Lanzhou, China

Lanzhou University School of Management (LUSM) was founded in 2004 and was accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in 2014. In 2018, student enrollment was at 3,425 with 1,482 as undergraduate students, 276 research masters, 1,604 professional masters, and 63 pursuing their PhD. LUSM has 3 development strategies one of which being Internationalization and currently has more than 35 cooperative partners worldwide. LUSM enlisted to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) of UN Global Compact in 2018. Also in 2018, the University earned the 5-year AMBA re-accreditation. Upon receiving the accreditation by the AMBA in 2014, LUSM became the 22nd Chinese University and 1st of all the Northwestern provinces to earn this honor. Our business faculty has taught business classes in Lanzhou and Lanzhou University’s campus in Shanghai. In recent years, we have hosted Executive MBA students and a Fulbright scholar from Lanzhou University.

Zurich University of Applied Sciences | Zurich, Switzerland

The ZHAW is a “practice oriented and scientifically based” legally independent university and is one of the leading universities of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. It is a part of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and Arts (ZFH). According to the 2018 Annual Report, there were 13,298 students enrolled at the ZHAW distributed over 28 Bachelor’s and 18 Master’s degree programs. The ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) is based in Winterthur, Switzerland and is not only the largest of the ZHAW schools, but also the largest business school of a university of applied sciences in Switzerland. It is also the only one accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Students have Bachelor’s, Masters’ and cooperative PhD programs available to them. The ZHAW currently has 439 partnership agreements with universities in 56 countries. The SML has formal partnerships with over 180 universities in 51 countries.

University of Ljubljana | Ljubljana, Slovenia

The University of Ljubljana is the largest and oldest educational institution in Slovenia. According to Academic Ranking of World Universities, it is ranked among the top 500 universities. The University has 23 faculties and 3 academies of art with various study programs. The number of subjects, offered in foreign languages makes up 5% (459) of the total courses offered. The University of Ljubljana is also known for its summer schools and international conferences. The University has an ongoing student exchange with over 600 universities worldwide. In 2018, 37,874 graduate and post graduate students were enrolled: 2,389 of them being foreign students. The Faculty of Public Administration has 3 study programs that have been accredited by the European Association for Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA). The School of Economics and Business has accreditations from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA). In 2019, the Financial Times ranked the School of Economics and Business 89th among European Business Schools. We have an agreement with both the Faculty of Public Administration and the School of Economics and Business.

SGH Warsaw School of Economics | Warsaw, Poland

SGH Warsaw School of Economics was founded in 1906. It is the oldest public university of economics in Poland, and is considered one of the best universities in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. With a total enrollment of 16,500 students, the university specializes in economics and business education. It is structured as five separate Collegia including the Collegium of Economic Analysis, Collegium of Socio-Economics, Collegium of World Economy, Collegium of Business Administration, and Collegium of Management and Finance. The SGH Warsaw School of Economics is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). It is also the only university from Poland that is part of the prestigious CEMS Master’s in Management (MiM) program offered by 32 elite business schools around the world. We signed partnership and exchange agreements during a Nevada trade and education mission to Poland in 2017. Since then, we had faculty and student exchanges, joint research symposia, joint research grant, entrepreneurship competitions, and many other meetings.

KOC University | Istanbul, Turkey

Koc University is one of the best private research universities in Turkey. It was founded in Istanbul in 1993 with a bequest from the Vehbi Koc Foundation as a non-profit higher education institution. It has a total enrollment of 6,900 students and is the only university from Turkey that is part of the prestigious CEMS Master’s in Management (MiM) program offered by 32 elite business schools around the world. We signed a partnership agreement with Koc University in 2018. The College of Administrative and Economic Sciences is the main counterpart in our partnership. We also started an affiliation between our Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship and Koc University’s Entrepreneurship Center (KWORKS) in 2019. Koc University is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In 2019, the Financial Times ranked Koc 78th among European Business Schools and 30th in Executive MBA programs.

Deusto Business School | Bilbao and San Sebastian, Spain

University of Deusto was established by the Jesuit Order in 1886 with campuses in Bilbao and San Sebastian. It is the oldest private university in Spain. After a trade and education mission by the State of Nevada to the Basque Country in Spain during the summer of 2018, a partnership agreement between the ÍƼöÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ and the University of Deusto was signed in 2019. The partnership agreement included specifically cooperation between the UNR College of Business and the Deusto Business School, which was founded as the first business school in Spain in 1916. Deusto Business School is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). University of Deusto has connections to a number of research institutes including the Basque Institute of Competitiveness, also known as the Orkestra.

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management | Germany

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management was founded in 1984 and has two locations: Vallendar and Düsseldorf, Germany. It is a private business school with accreditations from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). WHU has a variety of programs including a Bachelor program, a Masters in Entrepreneurship, a Masters in Finance, Masters in Management program, a Full-Time MBA, a Part- Time MBA, an Executive MBA, and customized company programs. WHU participates in student exchange programs that placed about 120 students in 2018 in its more than 200 partner universities that span 5 continents worldwide. According to the Financial Times, WHU is the #1 Career Center in Germany in the European Business School Ranking of 2018. Its placement for Global MBA Ranking is #1 in Germany, #17 in Europe, and #71 worldwide. WHU also ranked 1st in Germany and #20th Worldwide for its Master in Management program.

Hanyang University | Seoul, South Korea

In 1939 what is now known as Hanyang University (HU), was the 1st engineering institute in Korea named Gong-A Engineering Institute. It also established the first school of architecture and civil engineering in Korea. In 2019, this private research university celebrated its 80th anniversary. In 2019, it was ranked 150th in the QS World University Rankings. Combining both the Seoul and ERICA Campus, HU has 25 Colleges and 107 Departments. In 2018, there were 33,148 registered undergraduate and graduate students. HU was ranked 11th Most Innovative Universities by Reuter. Hanyang has established 3 global startup centers in: Shanghai, China, Silicon Valley, CA, and New York. With over 2,000 participants, HU holds the title of largest international summer school in Asia. On average 3,000 HU students study abroad and more than 7,400 students travel to study at HU.

University of Rome Tor Vergata | Rome, Italy

University of Rome Tor Vergata LogoPartnership established September 9, 2019

University of Rome Tor Vergata is one of the largest public universities in Italy. In a short time since its establishment in 1982, it reached a total enrollment of 34,000 students. In addition to its many academic programs, it also includes a number of important research institutes in Italy including the National Research Council and the Italian Space Agency. The university is a member of the Young European Research Universities Network (YERUN) and the Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE). Since the signing of partnership and exchange agreements between the two universities in September 2019, our College started a strong relationship with the School of Economics, which includes programs in economics, finance, management and law.

KEDGE Business School | France

KEDGE Business SchoolPartnership established September 18, 2019

KEDGE is a business school in France founded in 2013 after two business schools: BEM in Bordeaux and Euromed Management in Marseille merged. It is recognized and approved by the French Government and is a member of the “Conference des Grandes Ecoles” in France. KEDGE is also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA). The School has 3 Centers of Excellence in Marketing, the Supply Chain and CSR. There are also 5 areas of Expertise: Wine & Spirits, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Health Management, Finance Reconsidered and Creative Industries & Culture. In 2019, the Financial Times’ ranked KEDGE 31st among European Business Schools. There were 12,580 attending students, 23% of these students were international students. KEDGE now has 10 campuses on 3 continents. The school has 4 campuses in France, 2 in China, 1 in Dakar, Senegal, as well as 3 other associate campuses in France. KEDGE also has 292 partner and double degree partner universities.

Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication | Baku, Azerbaijan

The Center for Analysis Economic Reforms and Communication was established with a Presidential decree in 2016. It is a research center that provides analysis of economic reforms using analytical tools and economic research. The Center organizes conferences, meetings, symposia and other events related to its mission. It also hosts an export support center, the Digital Trade Hub and Enterprise Azerbaijan, which was created to enhance the development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan. Our college has signed a memorandum of understanding with the center to collaborate particularly in the area of entrepreneurship through the involvement of the Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship. One of the planned projects is the establishment of a new startup school in Azerbaijan. 

University Of Newcastle | Australia

The University of Newcastle was founded in 1965. It is ranked in the top 200 universities according to the 2022 QS World University Rankings. It is also ranked in the top 30 in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact rankings. It is No. 1 in Australia for industry collaboration and indigenous student enrollment. The university has branches in Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney in Australia and a campus in Singapore. The Newcastle Business School has a number of achievements including both the AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. It has achieved top rankings in business administration, management, economics, and tourism and hospitality management. Our college has partnered with Newcastle in a recent study abroad program related to entrepreneurship. 

Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) | Switzerland

Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, generally known as OST, was founded by the cantons of St.Gallen, Schwyz, Glarus, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Appenzell Innerrhoden and Thurgau in Eastern Switzerland, and the Principality of Liechtenstein. It has campus locations in Buchs, Rapperswil-Jona, and St. Gallen. OST has 3,800 students in six schools, including the School of Management. The School of Management has a variety of applied programs and the faculty has strong connections with the business community. As a result, the School fosters scientifically sound, implementation-oriented skills and provides solutions for both business management and development as well as for information and process management. OST offers more than 250 different courses in the fields of Health Care, Social Services, Engineering or Business Leadership. 

University of the Basque Country | Spain

University of the Basque Country is the major public university in the Basque Country in Spain. It was founded in 1980 and has campus locations in Araba, Bizcay and Gipuzkoa.  The university has about 45,000 students and 5,000 academic staff in 20 schools and faculties, 70 undergraduate and 200 postgraduate programs. The university has an impressive 900 exchange agreements and receive about 900 international students a year. The memorandum of understanding was signed between the Center for Basque Studies at the ÍƼöÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ and the University of the Basque Country in 2010. Our college became part of this partnership in 2021. Our international lab, NVGLOBE-L, is working closely with the Ituna Center for Basque Economic Agreement and Fiscal Federalism Studies. 

Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) | Switzerland

Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) was established in 1997. It is located in the Swiss Canton of Bern with locations in Bern, Burgdorf, Biel, Zollikofen and Magglingen. It has a total of 7,780 students in eight schools. BFH Business School is also known for its summer schools, and the Young Entrepreneur Exchange Project (YEEP). According to the 2021 Annual Report, there are 6,003 undergraduate students and 1,777 students doing their professional masters. BFH has an extensive network of international partner universities. Our college signed a memorandum of understanding and an exchange agreement with BFH. Our first collaborative project is a study tour from BFH to the ÍƼöÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ planned for Spring 2023.
